The Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library, University of Toronto, won a Special Award of Merit in 1990 for its distinguished series of exhibition catalogs entered over the previous five years. Although unassuming in design and production, these catalogs, which were distributed at no cost to the public, show a consistently impressive scholarly achievement with permanent reference value. Shown here is a selection from the twenty-three catalogs receiving the award.
