| This catalog has the potential to be a major consumer of time by virtue of its meaty text and copious illustrations on a comparatively uncommon subject. The level of writing is exactly appropriate to the intended audience of the exhibition, which included history of science scholars and "buffs," as well as horologists. A good example of a catalog that joined the winners because of the richness of its content. Designed by Hausmann/Krohn, Inc. and printed by Hagerstown Bookbinding and Printing Co. Catalog produced in conjunction with an exhibition held October 1986 — March 1987, Folger Shakespeare Library, Washington, D.C. Division One Winner, 1988. Exhibited courtesy of the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center, The University of Texas at Austin. (ST) |
