The Katharine Kyes Leab & Daniel J. Leab American Book Prices Current Exhibition Award Winners 2004

Following is a list of winners for each division in the 2004 Leab Exhibition Awards competition. An awards ceremony will be held at the RBMS program at the ALA Conference in Orlando, Florida, Sunday, June 27, 2004. Winner, Division THREE (Inexpensive catalogs): The Grolier Club. The Auroral Light: Photographs by Women from Grolier Club Collections, Anne H. Hoy and Kimball Higgs.

Winner, Division FOUR (Brochures): Getty Research Institute, Exhibitions Department. Robert Motherwell: A la pintura/To Painting, Barbara Anderson.

Winner, Division FIVE (Electronic Exhibitions): The Bancroft Library, University of California, Berkeley, The California Grizzly at The Bancroft Library.

The EAC wishes to congratulate the winners, and to thank all entrants for their interest in the competition and for their contribution to its success. All printed catalogs and brochures submitted for the 2004 competition will be displayed during the 2004 RBMS Preconference in New Haven, Connecticut at a reception in the Beinecke Library on Tuesday evening, June 22, 2004; winning catalogs will also be on display at the awards ceremony in Orlando.
