Seminar Proposals for Upcoming Preconferences

Seminar proposals are considered at the Annual Meeting of the American Library Association in June, one year prior to the Preconference for which they will be considered. If necessary, please specify the year for which you would like to see the proposal considered.

Please describe briefly (500 words or less) the purpose, content, and format of the proposed seminar. If the seminar includes formal paper presentations, please include 50-100 word abstracts for each paper.

Please list any equipment needed for the seminar. Include specifics for computer hardware, software, and communications.

Please list any special requirements (e.g., extra fees and enrollment limitations, scheduling constraints, special room set-up).

Please list names and institutional affiliations, if any, of seminar presenters. For each presenter, please summarize credentials relevant to their selection as a seminar presenter.

Please submit completed proposals by using this form. Clicking on the SUBMIT button sends the proposal as an email to Seminars Committee Co-chairs, Danielle Culpepper and Laura Micham.

If you cannot use this form, email submissions directly to seminars@rbms.info.
