The RBMS Preconference is currently sold out due to popular demand. To be added to the wait list, please call 800-545-2433 and press option #5

Registration for the conference will open in February 23, 2007. You may register online or by fax or mail for the ACRL 48th Annual RBMS Preconference.  Registrations received after  May 16, 2007, will be subject to a $50 late fee. Online registration, which requires immediate credit card payment, is the fastest and most convenient way to secure your registration.

Before registering please check the conference schedule. Plan to arrive early on Tuesday, June 19 to attend the Booksellers’ Showcase, take a walking tour of historic Baltimore, or visit some of the libraries or museums near the conference hotel.

The main conference program will run from Wednesday morning, June 20 through noon on Friday, June 22. Housing options are currently available, and we encourage you to review the accommodations page and to make your travel arrangements soon.

Applications are being accepted for a limited number of attendance scholarships through April 13. Please check the scholarships page for details.

Online Registration
Please click on the link above and choose "Register" next to the event labeled "48th Annual RBMS Preconference." Online registration requires immediate credit card payment and confirmations are sent by e-mail within 48 hours.

Fax or Mail Registration
If you are not able to complete your registration online, please click on the link above to download the preconference registration form (.pdf), then fax or mail the completed form to ACRL. The mailing address and fax number are provided on the form. Registration forms usually take 2 business days to process once received. Confirmations are sent via e-mail.

Cancellation Policy
Refund requests must be submitted in writing prior to May 17, 2006, and are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Refunds will be processed and mailed after July 17, 2006. The preconference or any of its tours or workshops may be cancelled in the case of insufficient registration. In the event that an ACRL-sponsored activity is cancelled, ACRL cannot be responsible for any cancellation/change charges assessed to registrants by airlines, travel agencies, or hotel/housing organizations.

"Buddy" Program
If you would like to learn more about RBMS from a more experienced member, you are invited to request a conference "buddy" to guide you through the preconference experience. Prior to the conference, seasoned RBMS members who have volunteered for the program will contact those who have requested buddies to arrange a time to meet during the conference to offer guidance on conference activities, provide information about RBMS and its programs, and answer questions.
