Registrations received after May 22, 2009 will be subject to a $50 late fee. Anticipating a large turnout for this fiftieth anniversary event, we have expanded registration capacity to 400 participants.

  • ACRL Member: $235
  • Non-Members: $280
  • Full-time Student: $95

Before registering, please check the conference schedule. Plan to arrive early on Wednesday, June 17, to attend the Booksellers' Showcase sponsored by the Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America, to attend a preconference workshop, or visit attractions in the Central Virginia area. The main conference program will run from Thursday morning, June 18 through 12:30pm on Saturday, June 20.

Also note that Rare Book School has scheduled a variety of interesting courses during the weeks immediately preceding and immediately following the preconference. Why not come for a course and stay for the preconference or come for the preconference and stay for a course? See the course schedule and registration information (separate from the preconference) at http://www.rarebookschool.org.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing prior to May13, 2009, and are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Refunds will be processed and mailed after July 24, 2009. In the event that the preconference or any of its offerings are canceled, ACRL cannot be responsible for any cancellation/change charges assessed to registrants by airlines, travel agencies, or hotel/housing organizations.

First-time attendees should visit the Newcomers & Scholarships page for information about how to apply for an attendance scholarship to learn about the New Members Reception, "Buddy" Program, and Conference Orientation, all of which are designed to help you feel welcome and to make the most out of your preconference experience and relationship to RBMS.
